In recent years, cannabidiol, commonly known as CBD, and its derivative products have become very popular. The reason for this is that this cannabinoid from the hemp plant is recognised for its many virtues. It has no psychotropic effect and does not cause dependency like tetrahydrocannabinol or THC. It is therefore logical that sales of these products are soaring. In 2019, they amounted to 5 billion dollars according to a study conducted by Brightfield Group. This sometimes makes it difficult for dealers to find CBD suppliers or CBD wholesalers. By 2023, this figure would reach $23.7 billion, according to the same study. This makes it a young and unstable market, but one with great potential.
This significant leap forward was driven by the legalization of CBD use. This has led to the opening of stores and shops specializing in the sale of CBD. In France, it is legal to buy and sell CBD-based products (oils, creams, e-liquids, etc.). If you’re planning to enter this industry, finding the right CBD wholesale supplier is an essential step. The question is: where do CBD retailers source their products?
How to choose your CBD supplier?
A cbd wholesale supplier provides wholesale cbd to resellers. However, you should not buy from the first professional you find on the internet. There are verifiable criteria to consider and you should ask for a quote that is tailored to your CBD needs.
Transparency of ingredients
If they are serious, a professional cbd supplier will be transparent about the ingredients of the various products. If you have any questions, they should also be able to assist you. It is always best to deal with a professional who has product expertise.
Product certificates and attestations
To ensure transparency of ingredients, the wholesale cbd supplier must have its products tested by an independent laboratory. Depending on the results of the analyses, the laboratory may or may not issue certificates. If the wholesale cbd supplier is not able to provide these, the quality of the products offered is questionable.
Stability and delivery time
Continuity of supply is vital to any business. Therefore, the wholesale cbd of your choice must be able to guarantee the stability of its deliveries. This prevents you from being out of stock and losing customers to your competitors. Similarly, it is essential that the delivery time of your wholesale CBD purchases is short.
Where do CBD wholesalers get their supplies?
Generally, a cbd wholesale supplier works with farmers in order to obtain an attractive cbd price per kilo. The farmers have many years of experience and have acquired a real know-how which is reflected in the quality of their products.
Organic farming
A wholesaler will buy cbd in bulk and prepare his own products to offer to dealers. It is crucial that the hemp used for the extraction of cannabidiol comes from an agricultural source. This plant has the ability to absorb various harmful substances from its environment. This affects the quality of the CBD obtained.
Extraction with supercritical CO2
In addition to the cultivation method, a serious cbd resin wholesaler always pays special attention to the extraction process of cannabidiol. At present, there are various possible techniques. However, to produce quality cannabidiol, supercritical CO2 extraction is the method of choice. It guarantees optimal CBD purity.
Strict selection of hemp varieties
As the wholesaler cbd kilograms also pays close attention to the variety of hemp grown by the partner farmers. Although cannabidiol has become legal in several countries, the law limits the THC content to 0.2%. To remain legal, the cbd wholesaler supplier therefore ensures that the hemp grown complies with the regulations.
