What is CBG oil?

CBG, named cannabigerol, is derived from the decarboxylation of CBGa present in the plant which is an acid cannabinoid present in very small quantities in the plant. The CBG oil is obtained following the extraction of very young hemp plants, thus facilitating the extraction of CBG. It is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that reacts with the same receptors as CBD, the CB1 and CB2 receptors of our endocannabinoid system. CBG acts as an opponent to the CB1 receptor which means that it can attenuate the response of the receptor by partially binding to it and inhibiting it, thus reducing the effects caused by this receptor. Often associated with CBD oil, CBG oil is more expensive than CBD because CBG is a rarer cannabinoid.

What is the difference between CBD and CBG?

The decarboxylation of CBGa leads to the creation of CBD. The CBG, or cannabigerol, appears only in very small quantities, its rate being less than 1%. In the same way as the CBD, the CBG is not toxic for the body and does not cause psychotropic effects, you will not feel any effects of dependence in front of this cannabinoid. The effects of CBG on the body are somewhat different from those of CBD. CBD acts globally on the endocannabinoid system and does not directly trigger the receptors, it modifies the capacity of the receptors to bind to the cannabinoids, whereas CBG comes to bind on very precise receptors: the CB1 receptors, connected to the brain and the CB2 receptors acting on the central nervous system.

What are the benefits of CBG (and CBD) oil?

Because of its action on the endocannabinoid system, CBG oil has multiple benefits on the body. Like CBD oil, it has anti-inflammatory properties, with a particular action on inflammatory bowel diseases. CBG oil also has antifungal properties, analgesic, but also antidepressant qualities by reducing all that is stress and anxiety thanks to its positive effects on the mind. Cannabigerol oil can help in the treatment of skin diseases such as psoriasis and can reduce anxiety and muscle tension. The use of CBG oil mixed with CBD oil can be extremely beneficial for people with eating disorders such as anorexia, as CBG is a cannabinoid that can stimulate appetite. Some studies have also shown the potential of CBG oil's effects to fight certain cancers. Thanks to its anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory action, CBG present in the oil could prevent and inhibit the growth of cancerous cells, in particular during colorectal cancer. This cannabinoid could also be useful in the treatment of various eye diseases thanks to its effects on the blood circulation of the vessels present in the eye. How to consume CBG oil?

There are many ways to consume CBG oil. Often associated with CBD oil you can turn directly to CBD/CBG oils. Thanks to the entourage effect, these will be all the more interesting for your body. The CBG oil is consumed in the same way as a classic CBD oil, orally or dermally by applying the oil directly on the skin. Always remember to check the percentage of CBD and CBG present in the oil, this will give you an indication of the "strength" of the oil. Also make sure to check the source of your CBD/CBG oil and the extraction method used to extract it.

What are the different modes of administration of CBD CBG oil?

You can consume CBD/CBG oil in three ways: orally by diluting a few drops of oil in a drink or by sublingual absorption, by placing a few drops of CBD/CBG oil under your tongue and swallowing after 30 seconds of waiting. The latter process is the most effective, as it allows the CBG and CBD to be absorbed through the sublingual mucous membranes and to be directly diffused through the bloodstream and the cells of the body instead of passing through the digestive system and the liver. Sublingual absorption allows you to feel the first effects of CBG/CBD oil quite quickly. You can also apply CBG/CBD oil to your skin and massage it into the areas that hurt.

When to use cannabigerol oil?

CBG oil has many benefits and can be consumed for inflammation, pain and nausea. You can consume cannabigerol oil in case of glaucoma, in order to reduce the pressure in your eye. If you also suffer from inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease or intestinal cancer, cannabigerol oil can greatly relieve your pain. Use CBG oil when you are feeling under the weather, in case of depression and/or anxiety, CBG oil will have positive effects on your mental health.

Which CBD CBG oil to choose?

Choose your CBD/CBG oil according to your needs and the pain you want to treat.
A more concentrated oil will have stronger effects and will relieve more acute pain. It is important to check the composition of the CBD/CBG oil, if it is composed of other cannabinoids they will have even more positive effects on your body, thanks to the entourage effect that reinforces the effects of the different cannabinoids present in your CBD/CBG oil. The price of the oil can give you a clue about the quality of the product. As mentioned above, CBG is a molecule present in very small quantities in the hemp plant, so it is a rarer product that sells for a little more.

What concentration of CBG oil to choose?

Choose the concentration of your CBG oil according to the effects you want. The higher the level of CBG in your oil, the more effects it will have on your body. In the case of serious and painful diseases, you will have to consume a more concentrated CBG oil, such as a 20% oil for example, in order to feel the benefits of CBG oil quickly and durably. If you only want to improve your daily life by reducing stress and certain chronic and persistent pains, you can consume a CBD oil at a slightly lower concentration such as a 5% or 10% oil. Organic CBG oil: how many drops to consume?

The amount of CBD oil and CBG oil to take, whether mixed or not, is unique to each individual. The number of drops of CBG oil will vary from person to person depending on their needs. However, keep in mind not to exceed a consumption of 1 mg/kg. You can therefore calculate your maximum oil consumption according to your weight: if you weigh 75 kg, do not exceed 75 milligrams of CBD per day. This is the maximum consumption, so you don't have to consume that much to feel the effects of CBG oil on your body. In a 20% organic CBD/CBG oil there are 1000 mg of CBD and 1000 mg of CBG in a 10 ml bottle. A drop of organic oil is then equivalent to about 10 mg of CBD/CBG. You should therefore not exceed 7.5 drops of oil per day if you weigh 75 kg for example. We advise you to start with small doses and to adapt the quantity of drops with the pipette, and this, according to the effects and the felt benefit. You will see that little by little, you will manage to find the balance of your dosage according to the desired effects. Just be careful not to exceed the maximum dose of CBD oil / CBG organic recommended.
