How is HHC oil obtained?
HHC is a cannabinoid with a molecular structure similar to THC, which is found in both natural and synthetic form. In its natural state, HHC is found in very small quantities in the hemp plant. Synthetic HHC, on the other hand, is obtained in the laboratory from the hydrogenation of the THC molecule itself. It is in this form that it is mostly found on the market.

The central power has thus preferred to delegate the legislation on HHC oil to the federal states, which explains why the consumption of HHC oil is prohibited in Arkansas, Arizona, Montana, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Utah, Rhode Island, and Vermont, but allowed in the other states.
In Europe, no legislation has yet been put in place concerning HHC oil. HHC is not on the list of narcotics, and therefore still benefits from a legal vagueness that makes its consumption legal.
In France are authorized "the culture, the import, the export and the industrial and commercial use, of the only varieties of cannabis sativa L. whose content in delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is not higher than 0,3%", according to the ministerial decree of December 30, 2021 and the Decision number 460055 of January 24, 2022. However, our HHC oils comply with European law, and therefore contain less than 0.05% THC. Their consumption is therefore legal in France.
