Origin of the strain
The N.Y Diesel CBD flower is the result of hybridization work carried out by professional cannabis growers. This flower is the result of a long process of selection and crossbreeding to obtain a hybrid N.Y Diesel with a high concentration of CBD.
The N.Y. Diesel is originally a cross between several strains (diesel, northern light...). Historically, this flower was created in New York by a certain Soma Seeds who is said to have collected seeds from a friend who assured him that he had never tasted such good flowers. Soma Seeds later crossed these seeds with other varieties, resulting in a new hybrid.
The exact genetics of N.Y Diesel remain a mystery as no one knows the exact contents of the original bag of seeds collected by Soma Seeds.
